(This activity is exclusive to delegates from abroad who have received the official invitation to attend the World Chinese Conference.)

In order to help the delegates to the World Chinese Conference increase their understanding of the Chinese culture, China National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Hanban) will organize an activity named "Chinese Culture Tour" as part of the program of the World Chinese Conference after the Closing Ceremony.

The schedule of the activity is as follows:

22nd (Friday)	12:15 Depart from the Beijing Hotel to the airport 13:55 Take Flight SC1156 to Jinan, Shandong Province 14:50 Arrive at Jinan Airport 16:00 Check in at the hotel 16:30 A trip to the Shandong University by bus 18:30 Welcome dinner party hosted by the president of Shandong university in honor of all the participants
23rd (Saturday)	08:00 Breakfast 08:30 Another trip to the Shandong University by bus 09:30 Taste Tea by the Baotu Spring, while appreciating local opera, Followed by a tour to the Baotu Spring Square 12:00 Lunch (location TBD) 13:00 Go to Mountain Tai by bus 14:30 Take cable car to the top of Mountain Tai from Taohuayuan (the Peach Blossom Land) 17:00 Go to Zhongtianmen( Halfway Gate to Heaven) by cable car from Nantianmen（the South Heavenly Gate）, and then go down the mountain by bus 17:30 Departure to Qufu by bus from Tianwaicun Parking Area, then move into the Quelibinshe Hotel 18:30 Enjoy Kongfujiayan (the Feast of Confucian Family Mansion) at Quelibinshe Hotel
24th (Sunday)	08:00 Breakfast 08:30 A trip to the Confucian Family Mansion, the Confucian Temple and the Cemetery of Confucius 12:00 Lunch in Quelibinshe Hotel 13:30 Departure to Jinan Airport by bus 17:20 Flight SC1158 to Beijing 18:20 Arrival at Beijing Airport, the happy journey conclude

China National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Hanban) will partially sponsor the "Chinese Culture Tour” activity. Payment notes as follow:

Delegates from abroad who have received the official invitation to attend the World Chinese Conference would need to pay $150 or 1250 RMB per person. For family members, the payment would be $240 or 2000 RMB per person if no additional room is required. If an additional room would be needed, the payment would be $300 or 2500 RMB per person. If participants don’t need to go back to Beijing after the activity, please give relative information in the following registration form.

Please hand in the relative payment to the World Chinese Conference’s register office while registering.

If you want to participate in this activity, please complete and send back the registration form by fax to the Department of International Exchange at your earliest convenience no later than July 10, 2005.
